Suzuki DR 650 SE ignition timing

Hello!

Suzuki´s orginally CDI unit is broken and i was buy new one from ignitech. It is SPARKER DC-CDI-P - tunable capacitive ignition for 1 cyl. motorbikes. But timing value which they give me doesnt work best like. They did gave this like timing values: 1500rpm/10adv and 3500-rpm/35adv. There is software http://www.ignitech.cz/exe/dccdip.exe

I did get works motor beter when i put 1300rpm/8, 2000/18, 2500/28, 3500-/33 but i haven´t dyno so i feel it is better

What is DR650SE right (orginally) ignition timing values?

I looked at my repair instructions and I could only find this value:

Ignition point: 13° befor top death centre under 1500rpm


Sorry, but I can`t find an other value on an other engine speed.

Maybe an other member of this forum knows more.

Hello!

In this manual tells that ignition timing is 10 degrees B.T.D.C at 1500rpm.

which is right one 10 or 13? My bike is 1996 Germany version.

Try to get a 2nd-hand CDI on Ebay. I got one for about 5 Euro. It's a lot safer than playing around with an after-market unit without having the complete data.
